Calling all rational writers: Ray a Day guest post week

Hey!

How would you like to be a guest blogger here?

In a few weeks, just for fun, I am going to farm out Ray a Day posts to guest bloggers!

I don't care if you're a theist or an atheist, if you think you can write a response to one of Ray's questions/answers like Flimsy and I can in a thorough and thoughtful manner, I want you.

No, we're not going on vacation. I've noticed a recent influx of great commenters to my site and I am loving all of the content it is generating in the comments section.

If you'd like to write a Ray a Day drop me a line - Ziztur at Ziztur dot com. If I pick you (I expect more than 7 people to respond), I'll send you a question and answer from Ray's book. If you've got a personal blog or web address, I'll link you in your post so the rest of the world will know how cool you are.

I may submit something, but I'm also in the process of doing my own chapter by chapter review of Hitchens' god is not Great which is taking up too much of my time.

Ooooo, that sounds fun.

There are some people I specifically want, off the top of my head (don't feel bad if I forget you)

Augustine (Our resident Catholic. I know he thinks Ray's stuff is poison.)
Highboy (Our resident Protestant. I'm sure he thinks some of Ray's points are dumb too)
Thumper (won with the Jefferson knowledge
eternal critic (just wins)
Tom (I know you're out there)
Gordo (Patient questioner. Gordo already has his pages)
Petter (amazing ninja commenter, already has his pages too)
Bath Tub (parties with me over at Ray's blog)
X Zilla (asks cool questions)
Alien (she's known me since high school)

I don't have Ray's book, and I certainly don't want to line his pockets by buying it, but I would be willing to write an article related to a particular passage if you could get them to me.

For some reason, every time i try and add you onto my bloglist the program rewrites your url incorrectly and creates a dead link. It always gets the page title right though.

Really need to get my own domain...

Of course you may count me in on this. I'll find it an interesting challenge.

I'll take a shot at it. Some days the words seem to flow out, and others are like a trainwreck, so might need a few days to get a good day.

What hell, give me a question ziztur. I never read the book though, nor do I intend to.

Comfort is immensely skilled at putting an astounding amount of ignorance and misconception into just a few words.
Two pages of it makes for a huge pile of %$@&*
This is trickier to manage than I thought!

You said it X Zilla. He also loves quoting parts of the bible, but only if it could POSSIBLY support his opinion(actually got out one of the several that I've been sent, but that's another story). I've already read through what I got sent several times, and have found Moby Dick(read several times) easier to follow than Ray's train of thought, but that's simply because Moby Dick isn't so full of @#$%.
