My friend Dave and I visited an abandoned house in Truxton, MO. Supposedly it is haunted, but we did not discover this until after we had visited. Niether of us think ghosts exist, and we did not see any evidence to lead us to start thinking otherwise. The ghost stories associated with this house are quite numerous and rather silly.

The house is a huge place - I would guess 2,500 square feet or so. It has no wall outlets, light fixtures, or bathrooms. I don't know how long it has been abandoned. The house is remarkably untampered with - there are few tags and no spraypaint. It is surprisingly well-preserved. Yet, there are absolutely no personal artifacts to clue us in on the age of the house or the nature of the former inhabitants.
